Guarded ETH/USDG venue

WETH and USDG pools where a swap that pushes the price past a band around Chainlink's ETH / USD price, 10% each way by default, pays the pool's LPs a surcharge.

Why it is different. The pair where Hookr's Market Guard has an admitted feed today.

How the pools work together

  • Market Guard binds fail-closed: when the feed cannot answer, the pool refuses swaps until it does.
  • Arb recapture is on, and the guard checks each leg after its swap; it recaptures once What The Hook lists a WETH / USDG venue, which it does not yet.
  • Family Pulse would raise sells on both pools during a fast move. Proposed

  1. Open the family

    • Open the launch page on this family.
    • Check that Hook Blocks says the linked pools are this launch's pools, and leave Runs on at Hookr's hook.

  2. Choose WETH

    • Click 1 Token.
    • Under What are you launching?, click Token that already trades.
    • In Token contract, paste WETH's address, 0x0bd7d308f8e1639fab988df18a8011f41eacad73 on Robinhood Chain.
    • Check that Already on Hookr reads WETH has no Hookr pools yet, so these pools are its first launch.
    • Click Continue.

  3. Open WETH / USDG

    • Under Your pool, check the pair reads WETH / USDG with tick spacing 10.
    • Click Open at the market price. The image read WETH trades at 2486.59 USDG on Uniswap v4 0.05% hookless.
    • Turn on Full range.
    • Type the Token seed and the Quote seed you will add. The image uses 1 WETH and 2500 USDG as examples.
    • Click Continue.

  4. Check the blocks

    • In Hook Blocks, check that Market Guard fills the Advisory slot (1 of 1).
    • Check the rest of the board: Arb recapture in the Arb recapture lane, Dynamic fees, and LP Rewards after the swap.

  5. Market Guard

    • Click Market Guard to open it.
    • Check that Price feed reads ETH / USD · Chainlink.
    • Keep Mode on Surcharge. Circuit breaker is deploying soon.
    • Leave Band at 10%, Ramp at 10%, Full surcharge at 1% and Price age limit at 25 hours (90000).

    • Skip 4 Team and income: nothing there is needed.
    • Click 5 Review and check that Contract is WETH's address.

    • Check the pool card: Market Guard ±10% band · 1% past it, Dynamic fees 0.3% to 2.3%, Arb recapture, LP Rewards, Full range, tick spacing 10.
    • Read the note under it: What The Hook lists no WETH / USDG venue yet, so trades here recapture no arbitrage until it does.
