Surcharge, the only mode offered
Swaps that stray from a live Chainlink price pay the pool's LPs a surcharge.
What you take on
It binds fail-closed, so when the feed cannot answer or its price is older than the limit, the pool refuses swaps until it does. It is offered only where a live feed prices the pool's exact pair.
It takes the pool's one advisory, so it never shares a pool with Tax + Conversion, Buy/Sell Block, Market-hours fee, Managed fee, Zap Relay source, Zap Relay target, Swap Reward Mint or Usage fee.
Fixed with the pool at launch.
It keeps a pool's price near a live Chainlink price: within the band a creator sets, swaps pay nothing more. Past the band, a surcharge climbs over the ramp to its full rate and is paid to the pool's LPs.
Offered only where a live price feed covers the pool's exact pair. HOOKR has none, so its pools never take it.
It binds fail-closed: when the feed cannot answer, the pool refuses swaps until it does.
The surcharge is an LP fee to the pool's LPs. Market Guard and Hookr keep none of it.
The circuit breaker, which refuses a swap that would leave the band, is not offered yet.
Surcharge, the only mode offered
How far the price may move from the feed's price, each way, before any surcharge.
Past the band's edge the surcharge rises from zero to its full rate over this distance.
What a swap pays one ramp outside the band, as an LP fee to the pool's LPs. Market Guard keeps none of it.
A price older than this fails closed: the pool refuses swaps until the feed updates.
Charges the full surcharge while the pool holds less quote than this between the price and the band's edge. Many small positions on the way can count as no depth at all, so leave it off unless the pool's liquidity is deep and simple.
An amount in the pool's quote, set at launch
The Hookr pools carrying this block are not listed yet; this is not a count of zero.
