$HOOKR — a token with teeth

Thirteen utilities across four verbs — hold, burn, stake, play — wired into one flywheel. The live strip below is read from Robinhood Chain when you load this page; everything under it is the design spec, chipped DESIGN until it has deployment evidence. No invented numbers, same as everywhere else on this site.

Status: designed, not deployed

This page is the utility spec for $HOOKR, published for review before anything ships — the same way the hook blocks shipped as reviewed candidates before writes opened. No utility below is on chain today. When one goes live its chip flips and its numbers become block-pinned reads; until then the only live facts here are in the strip above. The flywheel routes fees and attention — it is not a promise that any number goes up. Adversarially reviewed, unaudited. Not financial advice.

01the loop

One flywheel, five stages

Spend

Every utility is paid in $HOOKR — burned or locked, never quietly pocketed.

fed by

The loop as designed. Spend only turns it when wallets choose to spend — the wheel does not spin itself, and spinning is not a promise that any number goes up.

Block Proposals

01
HoldDESIGNHOLD 10,000,000

Hold 10,000,000 $HOOKR and the proposal seat is yours: submit a new hook-block design to the public roadmap queue. Proposals that win the feature vote become candidate blocks in the next launchpad generation — and walk the same release gate as everything else: reviewed source, ordered receipts, canary launches before writes open.

the sharp edge

The seat is priced in supply, not favors — the ladder below computes what ten million is as a share of live supply, from the same chain read as everything else on this page. And deployed pools never change: a shipped proposal is a new generation, never an edit to live rules.

Builder Pro

02
HoldDESIGN

Tier-gated builder canvas: private draft stacks, parameter presets, side-by-side stack simulations, and conflict linting beyond the free tier — the guard-versus-pot trap the builder already warns about, checked across every preset at once.

the sharp edge

Pro tools shape sharper stacks. They do not make a launch succeed, and they never touch the contracts — the same compiler runs for everyone.

feedsCreate

Creator Bond

03
HoldDESIGN

Lock $HOOKR next to your launch for a chosen term. The launch card renders the bond: size, unlock block, and the wallet that posted it. Bigger, longer bonds sort higher in Discover's bonded lane.

the sharp edge

A bond proves lock-up, not honesty. It cannot be slashed, it does not vet a person, and a bonded launch can still go to zero.

Spotlight

04
BurnDESIGN

Burn $HOOKR to hold a Discover spotlight slot for a fixed window. Highest standing burn holds the slot; every burn is public and the slot is labeled PAID while it runs.

the sharp edge

Spotlight buys placement, not endorsement. The burn is gone whether or not anyone clicks, and a louder slot does not make a better token.

Crown Auction

05
BurnDESIGN

A rolling burn auction for the crown at the top of Discover. Highest cumulative burn wears it, wallet named, until someone burns past them. Dethroned burns stay burned.

the sharp edge

The crown is pure status. It pays nothing, yields nothing, and refunds nothing — that is the point, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.

Handles

06
BurnDESIGN

Burn a one-time amount to claim a permanent creator handle. The handle renders on every launch and blueprint the wallet ships, in place of a bare address.

the sharp edge

A handle names a wallet, not a person. It cannot prove who is behind it, and it transfers with the keys if the keys leak.

Season Staking

07
StakeDESIGN

Lock $HOOKR for the season. Lock size and lock length multiply your Hook Points — up to 2.5× at five million staked for the full eight weeks. The multiplier compounds with streaks, capped in the open spec below.

the sharp edge

Locked is locked until season end; there is no early exit. And a multiplier moves your share of a pot that only real utility spend fills — a quiet season pays a quiet pot.

Curation Staking

08
StakeDESIGN

Stake $HOOKR on a library blueprint. Ranking weighs stake, and when a launch uses the blueprint, a slice of that blueprint's royalty stream splits pro-rata across its curators.

the sharp edge

Royalties only exist on stacks with an ETH-side share — an Auto-Burn-only stack pays none. Stake on a blueprint nobody uses and you earn exactly nothing.

Side-Pots

09
StakeDESIGN

Sponsor any launch's Nth-buy pot with a $HOOKR side-pot. The same public counter that pays the ETH pot pays the side-pot, to the same Nth qualifying slot.

the sharp edge

The counter stays deterministic and raceable — the docs say it plainly and it stays true here. A sponsor makes the slot richer, not fairer.

Hook Points

10
PlayDESIGN

The season scoreboard. Launching, graduating, publishing blueprints, having them used, trading through hooked pools, and holding LP all score. Staking and streaks multiply. At season end the pot pays the board pro-rata, in $HOOKR.

the sharp edge

Points measure activity, not merit. Expect grinding — the caps and the public rules are the defense, not a claim that grinding will not happen.

feedsReward

Streaks

11
PlayDESIGN

Consecutive days with at least one qualifying action multiply points, +2% per day to a hard cap of +50% at twenty-five days. Miss a day and it resets to zero.

the sharp edge

A streak rewards habit, not identity. Wallets are cheap; the cap is what keeps a fleet of them from owning a season, and the reset is what makes the habit real.

feedsReward

Badges

12
PlayDESIGN

One-time onchain achievements: First Cast (first launch), Full Stack (all five blocks in one launch), Curve Survivor (bought tranche one, held through graduation), Librarian (a blueprint of yours used ten times). Rendered on your handle wherever it appears.

the sharp edge

Badges pay nothing and multiply nothing. They prove one wallet did one thing once. Collect them anyway.

Feature Votes

13
PlayDESIGN

Staked wallets vote: which proposed block ships next, what the library features, and the next season's parameters. Vote weight is staked balance, snapshot at a published block.

the sharp edge

Votes steer the roadmap and the site. They cannot edit deployed contracts — immutability outranks the vote, every time, on purpose.

Thresholds are spec; the percent column is computed from the live supply read in the strip above. Held and season-locked balances both count toward a rung. The top rung is deliberately whale-grade — the proposal seat is skin in the game, not a suggestion box.

Season 1: First Cast

how a season works

8 weeks. Every utility spend during the season splits the moment it happens: 50% to the dead address, 50% to the season pot. At season end the pot pays the Hook Points board pro-rata, in $HOOKR, and the counters reset.

50% burned · 50% season pot

No emissions exist anywhere in this design. The pot is exactly half of what the season actually collected — a quiet season pays a quiet pot. Burned means sent to the dead address: totalSupply() reads unchanged, the tokens are simply gone. When seasons ship, this card shows the live pot as a block-pinned read; until then it shows nothing, because there is nothing.

Local math on the open spec above — no chain read, no write, not deployment evidence. Points are a share of a pot that only real utility spend fills; they are not a rate and not a promise.

What this page does not claim

  • No utility here is deployed. The chips are the truth: DESIGN means not on chain, and a chip only flips with an address, receipts, and block-pinned reads.
  • The token the utilities serve is the contract in the live strip — minted through the 0penZaps factory, not the Hookr launchpad. It has no hook, no curve, and no launchpad-locked liquidity, and the app refuses to describe it as a launch.
  • There is no yield figure to quote and none is promised. The season pot is half of real utility spend, nothing more. If a season spends nothing, it pays nothing.
  • Points, streaks and badges are farmable. Caps and public rules are the defense — not identity checks, and not a claim that farming will not happen.
  • Proposals and votes steer the roadmap and this site. They cannot edit deployed contracts. Immutability outranks the vote, every time.
  • Like everything on this site: adversarially reviewed, unaudited. Not financial advice.
