Terms and endings

Forever or a term of at least seven days, what happens at the end, how each stream's end shows on the token's page, and the fee.

On this page

A launch or a set of positions is locked for a term or forever. The shortest term is 7 days. Past it you pick any date, and the app offers 7, 30, 60, 90 and 180 days and a custom date.

Launches and the token's market are counted in the parent chain's blocks; position doors are counted in seconds. A missed parent block only makes the real term longer, never shorter.

At the end of a term

Anyone can release a fee right once its term has ended. The door holding a launch pulls its pools one last time and hands their LP back to the creator. A position door collects each position's LP fees one last time and gives it back to its depositor. All income from the term stays claimable afterwards. A fee right locked forever never releases.

Fee rights with no term

  • A pools.trade fee NFT moves into its door for good.
  • A Pons fee right stays until Pons moves it. Pons can propose a new recipient for any launch, and anyone can run that proposal after three days' notice. The token's page shows any redirect pending, and a stream Pons moved away shows as ended.
  • A Long fee right cannot be taken back by Doppler. It stops paying if its pool graduates, where that is possible.

Reading a token's streams

Every revenue token's page lists each stream and when it ends: forever, a date, a block and its date, that it can be redirected, or that it has ended. Each outside door is also marked verified or unverified.

Fee

Hookr's leg of a revenue token comes down to one question: does the tokenized stream already pay Hookr through the Hookr hook?

The streamHookr's leg of the supply minted
A new Hookr launchNone
A new Hookr pool for a token that already tradesNone
Uniswap v4 positions whose pools are all on the Hookr hookNone
A pools.trade fee NFT5%
Uniswap v4 positions with any pool off the Hookr hook5%
Streams that include a pools.trade NFT, a v3 position, a v4 position off the hook or another outside fee right5%

A pool on the Hookr hook pays Hookr through its Hook Block fees and arb recapture, so a leg on the token as well would charge it twice. A fee right off the hook pays Hookr nothing on its own, so Hookr's leg is minted with the token.

Both figures are constants of the tokenizer, read from the contract for this page. The contract has no owner, so no one can change them.

Hookr's leg is minted once, at the mint, to Hookr's leg collector, and the rest goes to your recipients. The market seed, when a market opens, comes out of your recipients' side. The leg is recorded per token and never changes. The collector holds its tokens like any holder and pays their income to the Hookr treasury.

Of everything Hookr's 5% leg pays the Hookr treasury, a fifth goes on to What The Hook (WTH): 1 point, or 1% of the supply minted.
