What new pools add
What a pool on the new release adds to a Hookr pool today, each piece in one line with the page that covers it.
A pool on the new release keeps what a Hookr pool does today and adds the pieces below. Every figure on these pages is read from the release's contracts.
At a glance
| Piece | What it adds |
|---|---|
| Hook Blocks | Pick blocks, set their parameters per pool and remix them into a hook of your own. The launch-day blocks open with the release. |
| Multi-pool launch | A new token, or one that already exists, opens in up to 8 new pools at once, one per quote asset. |
| Dev buy lock | A dev buy keeps the pools' liquidity locked for 7 days by default. |
| Fees and the arb recapture split | Block fees split 80/20 by default. Arb recapture pays Hookr 25% and its partner up to 25%; the pool shares the rest. |
| The Hookr minimum | A Hookr token's pool that pays Hookr nothing else pays 0.1% of each swap. |
| King of the Pool | The largest buy of each round wins a prize from a pot that arb recapture fills. |
| Launch lock | Hold a launch's liquidity until a block you pick, or for good, while a beneficiary collects its fees. |
| Saved hooks | Keep a named set of Hook Blocks on chain, and list the pools that follow it. |
| Owned roots | Use Hookr's hook with a saved hook of your own, or deploy a hook at an address of your own. |
| LP Time-Lock Boost | Lock a full-range position for up to 104 weeks for up to 3x reward weight. |
| Referrals | Campaigns pay a trader's referrer a commission and the trader cashback out of the fees the trader pays. |
| Programs | Points, cash, milestone NFTs and Hookr Bux for trading or liquidity on up to 8 pools. |
| SDK | TypeScript source that builds every launch, swap, quote and claim call. |
These pages state each bound as the contracts hold it. The terms Hookr's owner governs inside those bounds are read from chain here.

What stays the same
- A pool's blocks and their parameters are fixed when it opens. Nobody can change them afterwards, Hookr included.
- The base LP fee goes to the pool's LPs in full.
- Pools opened on earlier releases keep trading on their own contracts.
Arb recapture
Arb recapture is live on new pools. A pool opened without it never takes it, since a pool fixes its hook terms when it opens. What The Hook's executor runs the arb recapture, and if it cannot, the trade goes through without it.
King of the Pool runs inside arb recapture, so a pool has it only where arb recapture is on.
