How it behaves
A trader names a referrer once per program by signing a binding, and a campaign pays the referrer a commission and the trader cashback as shares of the fees that trader paid. The campaign's funder pays both from a budget set aside up front, so a referred trader pays nothing extra.
How a campaign pays
- ProposeAfter a day ends, Hookr's attestor proposes the fees each referred trader paid, within 90 days.
- ReviewThe campaign's reviewer can veto the proposal during its review window, from 6 days to 30 days.
- ClaimOnce it is final, the referrer and the trader each claim, and anyone can trigger a claim to the one owed.
Good to know
- Only a campaign from a wallet Hookr's partner review approved for that pool's fee is proposed, and one on the creator royalty pays only when the royalty's recipient starts it.
- All campaigns together pay at most 99.99% of one trader's fees on one pool, one fee and one day, and on a pool with King of the Pool at most 50% of Hookr's share.
- A second wallet of your own is not detectable on chain, so a campaign's rates are a rebate any bound trader can take.
- The contracts cannot see a fee counted by a second referral contract, cash from Programs or the same fee claimed under another wallet, so Hookr's attestor keeps that ledger.
Tradeoff
- Each day pays only after Hookr's attestor proposes the fees and the campaign's reviewer lets the proposal stand. A day nobody proposes lapses, and its budget goes back to whoever funded it.
