Tax + Conversion

HookrLive

Buy and sell taxes, paid in the pool's quote.

Create pool

What you take on

  • The rates, the decay and the recipient are frozen at launch. A recipient contract that cannot receive the quote would freeze its share.
  • Every sell shape pays the sell tax, exact-output sells included, and arb recapture legs pay it too.
  • Hookr takes its share of each tax, at least 20%, before the rest is queued for the recipient.
  • If the quote token ever refuses a payout, while paused, frozen or charging a fee, the share arrives as PoolManager claims. The recipient redeems them into the token through the claims redeemer, so name a wallet, a Safe or a royalty split.

How it behaves

Conversion into another asset stays paused at launch and the route is frozen with the pool, so a launch-day pool pays its taxes in the quote for good. Nothing reaches the recipient inside a swap: the queue pays out when anyone settles it.

It takes the pool's one advisory, so it never shares a pool with Buy/Sell Block, Market Guard, Market-hours fee, Managed fee, Zap Relay source, Zap Relay target, Swap Reward Mint or Usage fee.

Can't be combined with

  • Any other advisoryA pool takes one advisory, so it runs one of these blocks. A Multi-pool launch can carry another on a pool of its own.
  • A Partner tax launchA Partner tax launch's tax is the pool's one advisory.
  • Dynamic fees at their widest ceilingAn advisory's fee room is set aside first, so the widest dynamic fee ceiling doesn't fit beside one.
  • A token that already existsTax + Conversion is offered on new tokens only, so an existing token's pools open without it.

How the tax reaches you

  1. SettleEach side's tax waits in its own queue in the pool's quote. Anyone can settle a queue, which splits off Hookr's share.
  2. Pay outAnyone can pay a settled queue out to the recipient fixed at launch, from the pool's page.
  3. RedeemIf the quote token refuses a payout, the share arrives as PoolManager claims, which the recipient redeems into the token in Portfolio.
